“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land,” says 2 Chronicles 7:14.
And this was how God answered to prove Himself in the attempted domination of our nation by the demons of abortion and homosexuality. Despite, popular opinion God removed the arrogance of the homosexuals despite their political gains. Therefore, as people of power Christians have the right to expect the intervention of God in the form of miracles when we cry out to Him.
The burning bush experience was a miracle by itself. Yet, its butterfly effect was to generate another series of miracles (tumultuous events) designed to liberate a nation from slavery and reinforce their faith in God. When I look at the choir following Kanye West, I see a revolution. A new wonderous set of people grateful to God for the opportunity of a new life in Christ Jesus. One can only imagine the number of new Christian converts who begin to take the God of Justin Bieber more seriously as he goes around the world sharing the testimony of his healing. And this is where the Christian family comes in, we need to show love to support young couple and devoted Christians in this time of challenges. We need to help them work out the miracle of healing. In other words, just as Justin Bieber had to come to the stage to announce an illness, he should be able to go around the world to testify to his healing (John 9:25).
Whose Report Do You Believe
The famous Bible quote by a great evangelist, Apostle Johnson Suleman is very apt at this point. “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1) This is not to discount the role of doctors. In fact, doctors confirm what they can see physically. However, what they see can be overturned and has been overturned several times.
I have seen families, not just people with Sickle Cell Disease have their blood groups reversed to AA. I have seen 18-month-old pregnancy delivered without going to the hospital. The same God that appeared to Moses is the Creator of all flesh, He can choose to do anything with it. Therefore, irrespective of what the doctor says, he smart thing to do is to step up the faith in God. To believe the word of God for our healing.
Know that it is God’s will for you to be healed for your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost not the temple of sickness. The word of God says, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:” (John 3:14) and “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Time To Prove Christianity Correct
We love Justin and Hailey Bieber. Our duty of Christianity is to pray for them for God’s guidance and help as they wait for God’s turnaround. We know that our God answers prayers. He does not need the permission of men to do anything. He can change any situation just because He wants to. He says, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy”. Even before the Old Testament, He is the mysterious God that created the heavens and the earth. He backed the continuation of His powerful hand in proving to the Jews that He wanted them out of Egypt for their survival as a great nation. He turned the bitter water of Marah into sweet water (Exo 15:20-26). He can intervene again in the life of this young couple so that this sad announcement of ill health can be turned into an announcement of a new baby.
He turned water into wine, and after the He left the earth, his disciples continued the work of evangelism with miracles witnessing the power of His presence as a promise of eternal support. God gave us the story of the lame man by the beautiful gate for a reason (Acts 3:1-9). In fact, He had healed a lame man by the pool of Bethsaida before. Yet, Peter invoked the Name of Jesus to work out the healing of the man by the Beautiful Gate to confirm His saying that we shall do greater works than He did.
Even in modern time, He continues to expand His kingdom by witnessing the mystery of healing in lives of believers. He says, “if only we believe … we can ask anything in His Name, and it will be done for us” I continue witness the power of His might in many ways (use another video here). Therefore, if we encourage Justin and Hailey with good counsel, never stop praying with them, praying for them and love them, our God that answers prayers will send them help from heaven and heal their bodies, their hearts, and their lives for the glory of His Name.
